About CE-Copilot and SH Engineering
CE-Copilot is CE marking software for machinery by SH Engineering. It is developed by Hünkar Sönmez, mechanical engineer (B.Eng.), from the practice of the CE process: directives, standards and the risk assessment are not bolted onto general-purpose software but are the core the application is built around.
Hünkar Sönmez, founder
Degree in mechanical engineering and professional experience in industrial automation, close to the manufacturers who place their machinery on the market. As the founder of CE-Copilot he builds software that guides SMEs and machinery manufacturers through the CE marking process, and he writes the guides on this website.
What CE-Copilot stands for
- Built only for machinery CE marking
- Not a general compliance platform: structure and templates follow the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, EN ISO 12100 and EN ISO 13849-1.
- Standards from the database, not from the AI
- Number, title and status of every standard come from the standards database built on the lists of references in the Official Journal of the EU. The AI selects from this stock; every number is checked against the database.
- The AI suggests, the manufacturer decides
- AI suggestions are drafts. They are shown before they are applied and can be accepted, edited or discarded; responsibility for conformity stays with the manufacturer.
- Developed with its users
- Feedback from design engineers, CE coordinators and technical writers continuously flows into the software. Your data is not used for AI training.
